Turn Your Quiz into a Google Slides Presentation in Minutes

Turn your SimplTests quiz into a Google Slides presentation—one question per slide. Great for review sessions, class discussions, or presenting questions on a projector. Requires a connected Google account.

Why Export Quizzes to Google Slides?

Google Slides turns your quiz into a visual presentation—one question per slide. It's perfect for review sessions, class discussions, or projecting questions on a screen. Students can follow along without devices, and you can present at your own pace. Plus, since it lives in Google Drive, you can share it with colleagues or reuse it next semester. No more copying questions into slides by hand.

1. Connect Your Google Account

You need a Google account connected to SimplTests with Slides and Drive permissions. If you haven't connected yet, you'll be prompted when you try to export. Grant access to Google Slides and Google Drive.

2. Create and Save Your Test

Go to Create Test, add your title, and build your quiz. Use the AI generator or add questions manually. Multiple choice, true/false, and short answer all work. Save your test to Saved Tests.

3. Export to Google Slides

Open your saved test, click Export, and choose Google Slides. SimplTests will create a new presentation in your Google account—each question gets its own slide with the question text and answer options. You'll get a link to the presentation. Open it, present in class, or share with students.

  1. Click Export and select Google Slides.
  2. SimplTests creates the presentation in your Google account.
  3. You receive a link to the new Slides file.
  4. Open and present—one question per slide.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Keep questions concise—long text can be hard to read on a slide.
  • Use the presentation for low-stakes review; for graded quizzes, try Google Forms export.
  • Duplicate the Slides file before editing so you have a clean backup.
